It has certainly been a busy few months at the Hamlet. The team has expanded, we’ve built new partnerships, renovated, hosted designer pop ups, art exhibitions & so much more. Our long & short stay guests fill the halls (and our calendar) as events like Watches and Wonders, Palexpo conferences & international United Nations travel gain pre-pandemic momentum once more.
One achievement we were really honored to celebrate as a team, but haven’t shared or announced until now : for the 2nd consecutive year, The Hamlet has been awarded Best Operator 2021 by the Serviced Apartment News SAA awards in the under 50 units category! Thank you to Piers Brown & the whole International Hospitality Media Limited team ! This is our 3rd award from the SAA since 2017 & each one means alot to the whole team.To be recognized for our dedication to discretion, timelessness & hospitality at an international level is a sweet reward for the team’s tireless work here in #genevaswitzerland.
Co-founder Christoph Wondraczek & our lovely hospitality manager Anaëlle enjoyed meeting peers & industry key opinion leaders during the awards ceremony last spring in London. After so many months hiding behind our screens, navigating the waves of travel uncertainty & creating a home away from home for our guests, the evening hosted by the charismatic George Sell was a welcome highlight.
Here is what our co founder Christoph had to share about this wonderful award ceremony evening :
“To finally travel again, to mingle with industry peers and new kids on the block, to simply share stories of the past. The SAAs alway
s an event we look forward to! Thanks to Piers and his team, this was a very special evening.”We were honored to win alongside : AKA Hotels+Hotel Residences, City Pop, AltoVita, Kim Ashmore, Keith Freeman, Richard Majewski, Zoku, Stay KooooK, Dean Schreiber, and SilverDoor to name a few! We look forward to seeing you all again this year. & thank you to Joanne cox & Floor Kootstra for all your help.
