THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Geneva’s old town is perhaps one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods. Life here is often likened to that of an old, french arthouse film - slow, peaceful and beautiful.
Nestled atop a small hill, and home to some of the city’s most prestigious residential properties, the old town feels both private and vibrant. Among its’ cobblestone streets, you’ll find art galleries, restaurants, and specialty coffee shops. The lake is a stone’s throw away. And the city’s downtown area, main shopping street and main train station are within walking distance too.
Geneva is a fascinating place. It attracts great thinkers with great influence. Yet the air feels still; mornings are quiet, and afternoons by the lake are tranquil.
The sounds that find you at your doorstep are akin to those ‘of the countryside’-- birds, bikes, and bells. You would never guess that important world decisions are being made here every day. And yet they are.
